The update for Playa conditions this year look really good.  Evidently the Playa was under water for a good chunk of June and is still damp in places.  The reports after this years Fourth of JuPlaya say that the surface is hard packed with no sand drifts. And is still a light brown color.  Looks like biking this year is going to be an absolute pleasure much like '06.  For those of you who will be there for the first time this year this is very very good news.  It should be like traveling around on a giant concrete parking lot, Yay!
